There is however one area where we can all have the details exactly as we want them, it is by pre-planning our own Funeral. As with many areas of life the Spanish approach to Funerals and bereavement is looked at in a completely different light to the way in which it is viewed by UK citizens.

The approach to bereavement and the subsequent funeral arrangements can appear a little harsh in comparison to the process in the UK ; it is all rather hurried and is often conducted with a lack of grace or dignity. We found there was a deep desire to conduct Funerals in the more traditional British way. In conjunction with experienced and professional Spanish based UK Funeral directors, we have created an alternative to the more functional Spanish approach. For the bereaved we want to overcome the language barrier and remove the need for difficult decisions at a time when are emotions are running high and family and friends are your first consideration.

With three separate plans covering all budgets, and an opportunity to repatriate the person concerned it is certainly proving to be a welcome change to the alternatives on offer. There are no medical checks required and the cost of the funeral, whenever your final day arrives will be covered.
